Day 6: January 6th, 2009

Time to get healthy!! All the holidays are gone, the goodies have been consumed and the relaxing on the couch is no more! To steal a line from Oprah, "How did I let this happen?" I was doing well, I lost 40lbs a few years ago and kept it off for quite a while and I was starting to lose more, then I don't know what happened suddenly I've found myself 20lbs heavier. I'm pissed I let it happen. Now, not only do I have to lose the 20lbs I've gained over the last 6 mos, but the 30 I still want to lose!! Furhtermore, more than half my clothes don't fit, things I wore a few months ago now just hang in closet, mocking me. Well, enough I say...

So, I started my healthy eating and exercise plan today. I'm getting up early and working out, eating 3 healthy meals and 2 healthy snacks a day and allowing one sweet treat/dessert a week. Don't believe me?

  1. Good for you!! I need to get going. Where is my motivation? I used to be so good. I'm just gonna think about working out, I'll use the "secret" method of weight loss.
