Day 12, Monday, January 12, 2009 - CHIJW

Chicago is preparing to open another Marriott, this one is a J.W. Marriott Hotel on LaSalle St. In between Adams and Jackson (or in that general area). It's a historic building that used to be bank. They are in the process of gutting the entire thing so it will be opening in May 2010. I'm working at their pre-opening office this week, training the Sales team and assisting them with getting all their information into the computer system that they will use. This photo is awful, but it's the one I have to use. I had to steal a quick solitary moment in the office to take the shot and just as the camera was about to go off someone walked down the hallway so I'm looking to see who it is...Oh well. I'm going on a "hard hat" tour on Tuesday so hopefully I can get a better picture.
