Today, my friend Pallavi hosted an event through the MeetinChicago group I belong to. The event was to go to the Shedd Aquarium. I've never been so I figured now was as good a time as any, except that the Oceanarium is closed for renovations so all the Dolphins and Whales, etc. are vacationing in Connecticut until this summer so I guess I'll have to go back when they return. None-the-less, it was a good time. We attended the Polar Express Experience in 4-D meaning not only is the movie in 3-D, but they pipe in various smells and blast air at you at opportune times and your chair rattles as the train goes up and down the tracks. It was pretty cool.
We also went to a pet show, which was all about how to train your pets and how they use similar techniques to train the dolphins. It was interesting and the dogs were adorable, of course.
After the Aquarium, David and I met another friend Bof at a place just a block from our house called, The Rail. We watched the Eagles vs. Vikings Playoff game, that's football, Ken ;) and had some dinner. The Eagles won! WaHoo! That's it for day 4.
