Today I had 3, which actually turned into 4. I realize they are needed, but sometimes my ear hurts at the end of the day and I didn't get anything we talked about actually done! Life in a virtual world. I still wouldn't trade it though. I am very lucky to have the job I have. Not only do I love what I do (most of the time), but I get to work from home or I get to travel to various destinations (mostly in the U.S.). My commute most times is down the stairs (at my house) or an elevator ride down to the Lobby of whatever hotel I happen to be at that week. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of drawbacks as well. Working from home is not always easy or as fun as you might think and traveling for work is not as glamorous as some might think, but compared to other things I could be doing...I certainly can't complain much. Especially as I listen to many of my friends or friends of friends talk about layoffs at their companies. I've had to make my share of changes and accept cutbacks and such, but so far we haven't had to visit the layoff option so for that and many other things, I am grateful.
